I'm guessing you're pretty new to tango music. I'm going to suggest the Carlos di Sarli orchestra, in particular his recordings from the 1950's. Di Sarli had a long career and his 1950's music is, to me, the very finest tango music. It is strong, supple, nuanced, and varied, with a very steady, easy to dance beat. There are a lot of di Sarli CD's that you can buy from Amazon or other on-line retailers. Bear in mind that many of the recordings are from before 1950, and many have vocals, so try to make sure that you're getting the 1950's instrumentals.
