Its for a garage and conservatory in stroud area, anyone know how much archaeologists charge?

Here are the websites for two University Archaeology departments; the first is at Cardiff, and provides commercial services.

The other doesn't advertise commercial work, but may be able to advise on your location...

(which is probably rich in remains from all periods, but may be especially interesting for evidence of Roman and Pre-roman settlement)

...or refer you to a reputable commercial archaeological recording firm who can register and examine your property in accordance with the local requirements.

If that is the rules, there must be a number of local people that do this. My guess it is $50 to $100 per hour for maybe 8 to 10 hours, more if its a large area.

There are so many variables. Where are you located? How big is the area? Are you located near any historical sites? All of this will affect the price. If you give more details, I can may be provide you with an idea...

im a builder in uk ..have achieved some storage conversions ...first the tree ..this could have genuinely no longer something to do with making plans ...does no longer come into it ...what you do no longer say is that if the storage is hooked as much as the residing house ..if indifferent then definite you do choose making plans ..yet I relatively have achieved conversion the place making plans replaced into no longer required ...basically development regs ...this is the place you have gotten problems with the tree ..yet while no making plans replaced into required it replaced into all techniques on the fringe of residing house ...i think of you have gotten a situation via way of a neighbour

I'm from the U.S. and don't understand. What would they be
