Guided instructions please as I am a dummy. Also when submiting the question what does add to my messenger status mean

Add to my Messenger status means that Yahoo! will add this question to your personal status in Yahoo! Messenger. If you don't use Yahoo! Messenger, just ignore this.
Regional and language options can be changed as follows:
1. Click on Start then Control Panel.
2. If it comes up with a screen with a blue background, click Date, Time, Language and Regional Options. If it doesn't, choose Switch to Category View on the left side toolbar.
3. Choose Regional and Language Options.
4. Customise the options.

that messenger status means, that if you are useing yahoo messenger, your question will be your status (status can be available, busy,...... or whatewer you just want)
ok, language and regional options :
go to start, settings the control panel. (or start -> control panel)
you will find there the regional and language options.
to change the keyboard language, click languages, then details.
click ADD, and select the keyboard that you want to use. apply, and youre ready.

Go to start-control panel-date,time,language and regional options. Once there,click on the language and regional option and choose whichever country you are from.
