Do you think killng two, three or a hundred persons is worst than killing one? I think that one person worth infinite, so killing two persons is still infinitelly bad. The one you killed may could be the next Mozart, the next Jesus or the next Einstein. I think you can`t add the people value. You can't say that killing 10 is better than killing 10000. One of those 10 could be your son. people are not oranges or apples that you can mesure mathematically. If you kill just one, you have already crossed the limit, and beyond that limit, there is no possible measurement.

I think that the sad thing is not how many people dies. I think dead is not the real sad thing, I think the sad think is people killing people; death is just natural. I think that if saddam tell me "hey kill your girlfriend or I'll kill 100 people", i really should say "what you do is in your hands". The problem is not the 100 people dying, people dies, the problem would be me killing somebody, I'm nobody to decide who live and who dies, the only thing I can do is not to kill, that's it.

Power corrupts
Man has ruled man to his injury.
If you are an evil leader with no regard to the Almighty God your rule will be toppled.
We need a new start..where God rules everything. A Theocracy.
Do the leaders of nation think God is not watching them? And more importantly holding them accountable?
Yes to God each human life is precious. He is the giver of life and He cares about us....the scriptures say he has even numbered the hairs of our heads...that's hom much Jehovah knows us.

So yes Saddam is in deep do do. And it will seem as though we have peace and security soon. But as soon as they are crying it out...then sudden destruction will come against the inhabitants of the earth.

Don't get bogged down with politics, or wars, or anything. Time is so short....do all you can to worship The One True God Jehovah and you can live forever in peace in paradise with no tyrants to harm you. They will be gone.

Someone tries to kill my daughter or wife, their life's value just went to zero.

Your philosophical ideal seems to be at serious odds with the very direct and natural one called "survival".

This is why this particular philosophy isn't very common.

The people who believe it for real tend to die out.

The people who pretend to survive because in the actual situation, they chose life, then whine about it.

The rest of us kill murderers, as murderers knew they would be executed for their crimes, and were too stupid to realize that they could be caught.

They chose death.

An executioner has NOT chosen death, but chosen to follow the law.

Justice decides here, not potential. By the same argument, you should never imprison criminals because "who knows what they might accomplish on the outside, what works of art or scientific discoveries".

What rubbish.

Saddam was tried under his own laws and found guilty and this is just the first trial , more to come .
A truely evil man has been removed from power , his followers have been trying to take over and return him to power for months .
The sooner he stretchs a rope the better .

[Quran 5:32] "......, we decreed for the Children of Israel that anyone who murders any person who had not committed murder or horrendous crimes, it shall be as if he murdered all the people. And anyone who spares a life, it shall be as if he spared the lives of all the people. .............."

The religion of Islam condemns the killing or even the persecution of people merely because they embrace a different religion. The Quran mandates the absolute freedom of religion in a society. It does not allow Muslims to fight except for self defense and to enforce peace. It does not allow restrictions on those who disagree on religious matters. It urges the Muslims to treat such people kindly and equitably:

Ummmm....maybe it's just me...but I think it's safe to say that he is NO Mozart, Jesus or Einstein! And besides, HE "crossed the limit" as you put it a LOOOOOOOOOONG time ago!! AND w/o giving them the opportunity to explain or defend themselves such as the opportunity he had.
