The same goes for the West Midlands - any market will have someone who will unlock your phone for a fee - some smaller phone shops (the type that sell those dinky covers and straps)will also have this service - look for a sign saying "Phones unlocked".

I suggest that you jump on to EBay and type in "unlock codes" - you can generally purchase codes for about £1. I did it for my Nokia and it worked a treat! Alternatively there are a lot of phone shops and newsagents that will do it for you - just look out for the trip signs on the street.

Well, depending on where you live...this could be helpful.

If you live ANYWHERE in London, go to any market or shopping centre and you will see stalls selling mobile phone goods. They will unlock it for you, and make it dual/tri band for you so you can have it on any network.
