I understand that most schools are taking the whole of wc 12th Feb 2007 as half-term holiday. There are variations around the country.

yes there is a half term towards the end of Feb, I have a beachfront apart in Spain available that week for£150, sleeps 8 ,pool ,air-con ect,very Spanish area, no mass tourism

depends where you are, there's no school during Brazil's carnaval, which usually is in February
