If your keyboard contains crumbs, I recommend go buying a mini keyboard vaccuum. It cleans out all the crumbs and will leave you crumb free! Also, I recommend using a damp cloth with a little cleaner and gently wipe the keyboard down. In addition, a lot of keyboard's keys can pop out and be put into place again. You can do this and wash all the keys and replace them again. If you really want to save yourself a headache, buy a black keyboard because they don't show as much dirt as white ones or cream colored ones. Hope my advice helps!

I use cans of Enviro Duster or similar brand names to dust off the keyboard. You can find that at any Office Depot type place or computer retail store. Then I use a q-tip soaked in alcohol to clean keys and all around.

turn the keyboard upside down and shake gently- all the gunk falls out- yuck i know. Use cotton buds to clean around the keys, then i use a little household polish- multi purpose- not the stuff for wood, put on a little bit of kitchen roll and clean the rest gently, careful not to jam the keys. Don't use those yellow dusters or any water!

Buy an alcohol.
Get a lot of earbuds.the ones you use cleanin the ear.
Get some tissue.
Put some alcohol on the earbuds and use it on the tiny spaces of the keyboard.
Put some alcohol on the tissue and rub it on the open spaces of the keyboard.
Or try using the vacuum cleaner! thats a sure clean! LOL!

Get yourself a bottle of denatured alcohol. Remove all keys and soak in the alcohol. Let stand for 1 hour. Reinstall.

Either write down on a peice of paper all of the keys that are on your keyboard and then pop them off and clean them and the keyboard or just go and buy air duster and it will blow everything right out of it.

If you have a run of the mill, standard 101/2 button key board it would be as well to just buy a new one, they are not at all expensive,

unplug it, flip it over, unscrew it, be careful with the membrane and wires, you'll be amazed how easy and simple a keyboard is, and just wash the keys with water and soap. reassemble the keyboard ONLY when all the parts are absolutely dried off
