I always try to make a friend in online. But when I say " I m a boy" the other boys don't reply me. Is there any rule that a boy should not chat with a boy? Why the boys always search a girl?

No; its the result is not important- its the means by which you gain it. There is a Hadeeth that the zina of the tongue is talking to (basically) the opposite gender. It is not allowed because the Quraan says and don't come near zina. [17:23] People often bring up this argument "Oh, its for the sake of Islam." It doesn't matter, because the method by which you are doing it is haraam. So the whole act is haraam.

Its a boy / girl thing. At a certain age, around 13 maybe, boys try to search out, impress, and attract girls.

Well, it's more fun chatting with the opposite sex... I'm a girl and my list of friends are mostly girls, but they are all genuine friends of mine. Guys on my lists.. well, some are genuine friends, some are net friends.
I like to chat with guys cos they are just have the natural sense of humour which makes my day happy!
