He WILL be hung, or shot, or whatever way they choose to go about killing him. An automatic appeal might matter in other cases, but who honestly believes he will be found innocent? LOL! I think everyone was happy when they caught him, because we all knew he would pay. It's no surprise to me that he was found guilty.

Personally I'm very happy.
I hope his execution will finally bring the civil war in Iraq to a head.
Maybe then the great and wise Mr. Bush will wake up and realise that Iraq is a lost cause, and bring our boys home.
