It is sometimes hard to determine poor people economic condition, more and more poor people have jobs. They make 5 to 6 dollars a hour have kids sometimes more than one.they make money to pay for a place to live. That is always the slums.they have no health care because they cant afford it.Which means that they cant afford to get sick, they cant buy medication, they cant buy the write food to eat.Yes they have food stamps but i know this woman she is 70 years old,she receives 35 dollars a mth in food stamps. She lives in subsidies housing and ssi gives 540 mth. that is for lights,water.gas.and rent.So some poor people may ask you what economic condition? they have no economic to condition.

People = Poor People when their income can't afford enough: material, social, cultural and educational matters. In other words, unless somebody has food, clothes, a house and the means to whitstand minimal social integration, knowledge acquisition and education to improve living conditions, it should be considered poor.
