what's the name for the goggles that can be used day and night?

Just about any goggle can be used day or night as every popular model of goggle that I am aware of have interchangable lenses. Obviously, a lens that works well for a sunny day won't do so well at night but, for many goggles, you can purchase a clear lens that you can replace for night time activities.

I am unaware of any goggle manufacturers that make photo-chromatic lenses. These are lenses that get darker as it gets brighter and clearer as it gets darker. A company called PanOptx makes dual lensed, goggle style sunglasses with photo-chromatic lenses:

They are expensive but very good quality. I find they don't perform as well on stormy days as a good set of goggles do but for mild weather conditions they are great as they are less bulky than goggles and block the wind very well.

I guess I've been out of it for a while, but I didnt know a certain goggle could be used day AND night... I guess I'm old school in that I just use dark lenses for day-time riding and clear lenses for night-time riding.
