I think that it really doesn't matter what you or I want. He has been tried & sentenced by a court in another country so we have to respect their laws & decisions. Anyway, he has an automatic right to appeal. Apparently he is going to appeal not against the death penalty but against the method of execution. He wants to be shot by a firing squad not hung.

Don't agree with the death penalty for anyone. I was surprised they gave it to him because now they are martyring him in the eyes of his followers.

i think that the hanging was the best way of executing him after all he was asking that if he was to be executed that he would rather be executed by a firing squad,now that he has to live his last few years in fear of this execution of hanging,i say good enough for the bastard he gettting all he deserves
