Hope it will be deferred to life imprisonment with the standards of pre-war Iraqi prisons. Where prisoners were covered in lice and had their ears "nicked".

He sent thousands to their deaths on the gallows as well as gassing children and other innocent civilians.

Unfortunately with Mr ruthless gone - there is effectively a civil war. Why cannot the Iraqi peoples live peacefully with each other? Will this get worse with him becoming a martyr? These are difficult questions to answer.

I am sure that the Americans already know the risks BUT it was an Iraqi court that sentenced him.

I truly doubt that the U. S. important purpose of invading Iraq became to christianize the rustic or the human beings. i imagine it became more effective about politics and oil. So Saddam being useless has not something to do with faith yet back politics. He became a political chief who murdered chance free human beings and politically annoyed the U. S. at the same time with his WOMD, and oh shall we not forget he threatned Bush's daddy that he'd kill him so Bush overtly suggested, "he threatned to kill my daddy so i will get you Saddam for that" and he did. It became all political and nonetheless is political. The question must be, at the same time with his lack of existence will Iraq be united, and the nicely prevalent answer isn't any cuz their authorities remains chop up, Saddam's tribe has little capacity so!! besides desire I cleared up some issues.

The Septics and us went into Iraq on a false premise, even if the result was beneficial to right-thinking Iraqis.

The problem is, the middle eastern people have different thought processes to democratised people. For starters they are far more fanatical about their beliefs and have scant regard for others.

Executing SH will perhaps inflame matters temporarily, but they are bad enough as it is, so what would you have us do? Pull out and leave them to it?

Who cares? Cowards?

What is a "US backed Iraqi court"? Would you prefer that we not back them? Why?

In the long run, does it pay to try not to offend terrorists (while we kill them)?
