Following on from meatball7, hangovers are caused by dehydration, he's right, a couple of large glasses of water is the start of the recovery process, with me I usually found that I needed to 'go' after another 3 hours at which time I drunk more water and the same when I got up. Just keep replacing the fluids and without completely curing the pain it reduces it in a big way.
Alcohol is a diuretic which means that for every pint, or equivilant
you pee a pint and a quarter. conversly listen to the spoilsports
and be miserable like them.

A full fry up breakfast with heaps of coke or ribena. The lard absorbs all the alcohol still in your system! If you can't be bothered cooking, try a quarter pounder with cheese (large) combo. It may be the last thing you want to do at the time but half way through you won't regret it!

Consume foods and drinks that contain fructose (such as fruit juice or honey). There is some evidence that fructose will help your body burn the alcohol faster -- that is, get the alcohol out of your body faster.
Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
Eat well, if possible. Bouillon soup is good for replacing salt and potassium depleted by drinking alcohol.
Most hangovers are gone within 24 hours. Rest is recommended. Remember, even if you feel good the morning after heavy drinking, your ability to perform at your best will be diminished due to the residual effects of alcohol.

.... I know this is not what you need right now,.... but I just wanted to share with you that one thing that a number of others here have already shared with you is absolutely true.
Just for future reference,...if you want to prevent getting a hangover the next morning,.... force yourself to drink down two tall glasses of water right before you go to bed after you have been drinking. ... The thing that causes the hangover is the fact that the alcohol dehydrates your brain. .. If you replace the water right after you've been drinking,... you will not have a hangover the next morning.

AWE...you poor honey, did ya do it up a little too much last night? I hate it when that happens! Take 3 Excedrin for the headache. Flatten a can of Coke (that usually settles the stomach), take a Imodium for the diarrhea. Lay down for about an hour, and you will probably feel a lot better! Good luck!

at this point its too late for any real cures. drink some coke if you can keep it down. eating something salty and greasy always works for me. after that lay down for a few hours, it will keep you from feeling dizzy.
next time. drink an entire large glass of water before going to sleep and take 2 tylenol and you shouldn't get that bad of a hangover. if you take the tylenol after you get the hangover it will just upset your stomach so you must take it before you go to bed.

You should take vitamin B6 with about 6 glasses of water as soon as you get in from your night out.

a bottle of wine and a few other bevies, all jokes aside resolve is quite good for the good old hang over, but the best thing for a hang over is a big fry up(british breakfast) the fat content soaks up the alcohol, it might sound undoable if you feel right sh..y, but this is a tried and tested method, i have seen this on a program on television, another suggestion could be to go for a jog, but this sounds too tierden, especical fo first thing on a sunday morning

There's no good hangover CURE - there is, however, a good hangover PREVENTION. Don't get out of control in your drinking again.
