the main reason, just one reason, that you can NOT play DS games in your GBA is because there is no place to actually PUT the DS game. a DS game looks sort of like a computer chip, it's like a half inch by 3/4 inch rectangle, and flat like a cpu chip.
vice-versa is true though, the DS system has a GBA slot

of course not. you cannot play nintendo ds games on gba..
reasons:1 ds games require two screens
2 ds graphics are much better than gba games
3 i have never heard of a slot which can be inserted in a gba console to play ds games
but...if u have a ds..well...u can play both ds and gba games on the ds!

the only time you could play new game boy (since ds is the nextgen gameboy) games on an old system was when they released teh advance sp. and the games were teh same for sp and advance.
the point behind making a new system is that people will have to buy the new system to play the new games. otherwise tehy wouldnt make as much money.

particular you could play recreation boy improve video games on it and you could acquire ds video games on a ds with something. PLEASE % AS best answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (you could no longer play recreation boy color video games(the sq. video games)on it.
