i do not have a PSP, so i cannot speak for, or against it.

i do, however, have a DS, and i love it. playing games with a stylus is just so... intuitive sometimes. it seems to make more sense, especially in games like trauma center, where you do surgery. that game gets hard, fast.

and the DS is not just an innovative toy to be put away tomorrow. it is a real, workable system. there are already lots of great games out for the system, with more on the way.

as an added bonus, the DS is able to play gameboy advance games too

Nope the DS is a very good portable system with lots of cool games. If you do not want a PSP then the DS is the perfect choice.

In my opinion portable game consoles should only be for low graphic games with little control and more cutscenes. RPG games and the like are about all I play on portables, so Nintendo DS wins hands down. If you want great graphics why not just play on a home console?

If you want a portable console that's not a PSP, all that's LEFT is the DS. Wii isn't portable.
