I have recently switched to chlorine tablets in the skimmer box (I was previously using granular chlorine in the skimmer box) and have noticed a rather large straight chlorine stain developing from one the INLETS of the pools. It comes from the inlet, down the side of the pool and the across the floor. Has anyone had the same thing? How can it be avoided? And can I do anything about it?

I'm afraid there's nothing you can do about the chlorine stain. The colour of the liner has actually been bleached out there. It's common in pools where the owner doesn't take the time to either dissolve shock properly and lets it sit and I've seen many people ruin the looks of a liner by dropping pucks into the pool itself. They belong in a chlorinator ideally. Skimmer basket will do if you don't have a heater.
