I agree with HotPink, Ashley was voted out because Louis had the deciding vote and wanted Simon to lose an act, he and Sharon had whinged a few times about Simon still having 4 acts left and it was obvious as soon as the bottom two were announced that for Ashley it was over. The judge's bickering ruins the show sometimes and last night was one of those times because as nice a person as Robert appears to be, he is not a better performer than Ashley by any means

Ashley and it was a complete and utter scandal because his performance was terrific and miles ahead of Robert's tackiness (who stayed in over him). Louis made the decision and there was no doubt that he deliberately voted out the person who posed the most threat and also to get at Simon.
