Because of the way the question is worded, I'm assuming you mean I'm already in bed. I always sleep with my cell phone right next to my head, so i'd grab that & hide under my bed and call 911. If it was impossible to speak for fear of being found out, the cell's gps would take care of telling them my location. The importnat thing to remember would be to say "help" as loud as safely possible, so the operator would know I'm in danger.

Stuff is not important, your family is. I would grab my family and get the hell out of there. Let him steal my $9.99 toaster or medications but don't let him touch anyone I love. (I only use the term "him" because most violtne crime and home invasions are done by men (up to 95%).
If for some reason I could not get out I would fight and make as much noise and motion as possible in an attempt to allert neighbors and avoid being shot or whatever.
At least that is my plan, it is hard to know what would happen in a real situation and I hope I never find out!

I'm got a pepper spray called the "one pounder", for good reason,, made by fox,, has a range of about 20 feet, so he's gonna be taking a mist bath in pepper spray,, when he does recover my range taser is ready, as is my club. No need for fire arms... just be prepared with effective weapons that you can use. Yes i do own several fire arms,, but not FOR ANYTHING BUT UNAVOIDABLE LIFE AND DEATH STRUGGLES.

call 911 and grab the bat under the bed to go to the closet and unlock the box that holds the gun. I have my son in the house and live in a high crime area.

Knowing me I'd probably freeze. To be honest I don't know what else I would do... Let's just hope there’s a strong hottie in bed next to me lol.
I would be terrified of being heard...or of moving... so I don't know :(

Get crazy and try to hit him and kick etc. Try to defend myself too.
If he got weapons, hide, sneak into another room, wait for him in the doorway then attack.

I'd freakin' beat him to death if I could. Once he breaks into your home, it's self-defense, there's no reason to screw around. I wouldn't take such a thing very lightly.
