Has anyone sailed or cruized from Australia to Japan or Hong Kong?

Hey. I am very keen on going to Japan next year and instead of having another boring airplane fair I wanted to sail to Japan (straight to Japan or via Hong Kong) instead, but yet pay the price that would be near or lower then air fair. Can anyone help me please

You can catch a ferry from Taiwan to Japan, but I don't think there is any scheduled service from HK to Japan.

I think that you should just fly, and yes some people have sailed to japan but I have not.
