Their desperation for *anything* that they can call a victory is palpable.
Just before the election, but close enough that any bloodbath will happen after. The Bush regime are thugs and bullies who are more than willing to sacrifice other people's lives and well-being (Iraqi, U.S., UK, Polish, anyone else who could be economically coerced into joining them) for the sake of their own profits.
And it's not about oil supply -- why did they let so much of it burn and take so long to get it back on-line? The U.S. receives very little of its oil from Iraq. The invasion was about two things, reducing China's supply (and supposedly putting off Chinese industrial superiority from 5 years to 15) and thwarting the pricing of oil in euros. France (aka 'freedom's' antichrist) and Iraq were doing just that before the invasion. There are three oil exchanges, all of which operate in $, one in the U.S., one in the UK (hmm). Iran would like to set up another one (so is that really about nukes?). Pricing oil in $ forces most of the world to keep cash reserves in dollars. This is how the U.S. physically funds their $3.8 TRILLION debt.
It all makes sense once you see how the dots really connect. Their behaviour is shameful.

Well the Repubs hope that ths will help them win the elections. That is why they pressured the Iraqis to move up the verdict date to 2 days before the elections. Hoping a November surprise would help them turn the tide.

Yes, Absolutely, this administration will do anything to hold on to hold on to power, and considering the blood-thirsty attitudes of most right-winged Americans, I do not doubt that they could care less if the man had a fair trial, a so-called peaceful nation that still practice the barbarity of capital punishment.. European nations abolished it (capital punishment) years ago and the crime rate is much lower than that of the U.S, so please do not expect any intelligent answers from the "Kill Em and lot god sort them out later... G.I Joe, armchair quarterbacks... It was the U.S that sold the Chemical weapons to Saddam to kill the Iranians, and the Kurds, They also supported Saddam until he did not suit their needs anylonger, Remeber Rumsfield shaking Saddams hand, ******* Hypocraties

I agree, but I do not think it matters much. It will not change my vote. Death is bad anytime, after Christmas is just a few more days in a life. We need to get our troops out now. That will end the death of Americans.
