Yes, about 6 years ago I worked 12 hour shifts as a press operator at a powdered metal factory that made parts like timing gears, washer agitators, etc. 12 hours of standing at a press, picking each part off, sanding it, and putting it in a box. . .sorry, I started to dose off just thinking about it. Now you see why I am in college?

Um, I've never actually slapped myself in the face, but it was so boring that many of us traded Super Sour Warheads just to keep from dozing off. Telephone Directory Assitance Operator.
(Yeah, the 411 lady)
Because of the stupid corporate rules and union crap, we weren't allowed to spend more than ten seconds per call, so it got really monotonous.
Many of us would share Warheads, sour gummies, even malt vinegar poppers just to stay sharp.
(Yes, Malt vinegar really gets into your sinuses and will snap you out of a drone state really quick! and it's legal!)

I'm at it too, at the moment. It's almost 4 am and I'm here for 2 hours and 50 minutes longer. I work at the check cashing booth at a casino.

Yup, sorting letters at the post office. That was seriously dull.
