Is anyone actually confident that humans:
a. aren't going to kill themselves off
b. will one day establish a just culture/civilization
c. will one day collectively do something worthwhile?

And if you are confident, why? If you are not confident, why? In pparticular, as regards A, then what the hell is the point? (ie of everything)

wow guys except for the laugh those were pretty terrible answers. But I understand it is a dumb question.

To me its kind of ridiculous that our society really does nothing to ensure that these problems are resolved successfully, and in general humans, collectively, just kind of fart along and wait for lord knows what.

I mean wouldn't you expect a culture with our abilities and duration of existence to have confronted these questions with resolute plans and universal knowledge of them?

Yes, there is a point to everything because everything is it's own point. The point of boiling an egg is to boil an egg - that's all.
We probably will kill ourselves off but it won't matter, the universe will carry on.
We don't want justice, justice is equalization and that means nothing can happen because all is equal. The universe is based on eternal conflict in which all things are changing and this leads to variety, which is good.
Remember that life is not a special thing, but all things are a special type of life

Well firstly the concept is that is is the waiting ground till the Hereafter there will be a Day of Judgement when the world will begin to fall apart. Then all the dead people will arise and the good and the bads will be weighed. thats when the decision will be made about who goes to heaven and who goes to hell!

...but incase u dun believe that i think in the end the people will try killing each other off in competition for Land, Food etc

The point is to survive. Give it a try. Have fun. What's worthwhile anyway? Who judges what matters? Find the meaning in your own life. Do what makes you happy. We may collectively kill ourselves off. We might as well make the best of our lives until we bring on armageddon...
