Use a level. Find it at your hardware store. Ask another person in your household to view it from about 10 feet back and also test yourself and the other person for the meaning of straight. Dictionary.com . Have fun.

Use a level to start with or level it with the inside of the cabinet. Before you start making holes in it, make sure it's straight, stand back and look at it to make sure. remember this, "measure twice, cut once" keep this in mind.
