Okay folks, Bush is expecting you all to obediently clap and cheer when Saddam is sentenced.
But what is he being sentenced FOR?

WMDs? Saddam didn't have them.

9-11? Saddam was not involved.

Aiding Al Qaeda? Iraq was a secular government and Al Qaeda favors religious rule. Saddam and Al Qaeda were enemies.

Killing his own people? Evidence suggests Iran gassed the Kurds as an act of war, and in any event, the US Government has killed more Iraqis than Saddam's regime ever did.

So, what is Saddam being sentenced for?

And why should we vote for the government that told so many lies about him to trick us into a war of conquest?

"Former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has been convicted of crimes against humanity by a Baghdad court and sentenced to death by hanging.
He was found guilty over his role in the killing of 148 people in the mainly Shia town of Dujail in 1982."
Why is he sentenced?Because elections are nearby so Bush must prove somehow that he is making progresses in his "war against terror"...

Saddam Hussein was found guilty of crimes against humanity in ordering the deaths of 148 Shi'ite villagers. He did commit this crime and plenty of evidence has been presented in the matter. Wikipedia says the following about the trial: "...for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. Particular attention will be paid to his activities in violent campaigns against the Kurds in the north during the Iran-Iraq War, and against the Shiites in the south in 1991 and 1999 to put down revolts."
