legally in the UK there are many definitions -- for example you are a "minor" until age 18 but for child protection purposes you are no longer a child when you hit 16.

old has no legal definition.

no they are not related to biological changes.

not sure, but it winds me up that both kids and oldies get on the bus for free, when its the kids who destroy the bus, and the oldies get all the seats, when all us hardworkers have paid!!!!! lol
