Even if the pain is severe, it can go away as quickly on its own as it does after medical treatment, sometimes more quickly. Most episodes of back pain that last more than 1 week diminish by themselves in about 1 month. To get low back pain relief, consider these options:
Take nonprescription back pain relief medication, such as aspirin, acetaminophen, or ibuprofen, at the first onset of pain in the lower back hip and/or leg.
Apply a cold pack (or a bag of ice wrapped in a towel) to the painful area for 5–10 minutes at a time, during the first 24–48 hours of discomfort for back pain relief.
If the pain is not better within a few days, use a heating pad on the painful area.
Keep moving, but protect your back. Avoid sudden turning or bending motions, which could hinder back pain relief. As much as you can, avoid bed rest. Go on with your usual activities as much as possible.
Get help for back pain relief. If the pain is still intense or troublesome after 1 week or so, make an appointment for spinal manipulation with a licensed physical therapist, chiropractor, or osteopathic physician for back pain relief.
If the pain has not decreased to a tolerable level after 4–6 weeks, make an appointment with your healthcare professional for back pain relief.

If you are on Workman's compensation, and in pain, a
doctor should never release you to work, even lite duty
until they find the cause of the pain. It could be a nerve
or something very serious. They have to pay for you to see
a doctor if it happened at work. Do not take NO for an answer
find a new doctor and do not settle or sign any papers that you
are well.

The pain you have is result of the impact. "For every action, has a reaction". I have used those patches sold over the pharmacy's counter. There are 3 types: a cold one, a hot one and a cold to hot one, I use the cold one because I feel very uncomfortable with the hot one (I had the feeling of iron burning but my boyfriend whom plays soccer and once in a while "someone misses the ball", prefers the hot patch instead of the cold one).
The relief is fast, I usually use it before my bed time but it can be used any time. Good Luck!

You could have broken your tail bone and or tornt he ligaments around it-it is almost impossible except int he most serious of cases to diagnose a broken tail bone. There is also nothing to really be done for it either-I suggest buying yourself a doughnut pillow and taking it easy for a few weeks. As far as workman's comp, they tend to try to do their best to get out of paying you anything. Get yourself a 2nd opinion, because it could also be tears of the ligamenst and muscles in your back and possibly around your spinal cord, which if you are not on work release and are still expected to do manual labour of ANY kind, can do severe and permanent damage to those ligaments and muscles. Please go get a 2nd opinion, and the best of luck to you.

bones are only one part. Could be ligaments, muscles, nerve damage....See another doctor. Once you know what it is, you might want to see if mangosteen juice would help. It is a newly brought to market juice that has xanthones, which are excellent anti-inflammatories.. They helped me with a repetitive stress enjury on my elbow where motrin and ibubprofin were not helpful. ONce you know, check out the link at the bottom and see if anyone else has had your problem. If so, you could see either of the other two sites.

Ahahahaha! this is hilarious! i replaced into on a school ski trip on monday and tuesday this week and that i replaced into assisting my buddy who only began snowboarding down a hard slope(for her) and that i replaced into area stepping up the hill to assist her up because of the fact she fell and then i only began snowboarding backwards! It did no longer harm as quickly as I compelled myself to fall yet my buddy unexpectedly have been given right into an more desirable temper for snowboarding.
