being a student i don't think u would buy a very expensive computer. a laptop costs more and you don't need to take it to different places. a laptop also have less capacity and the ones which do are very very high, whereas u can get a pc with 80gb hdd, 512mb ram and much more at a far less rate. take a pc of wipro, their service is great.

Both the lap top and pc are needed.
Lap top for mobility
and Pc for power to do large assignment, especially school projects use Apple Mac. as its graphic hardware gives very good presentation for your school projects and help you to achieve more marks in many of your project.

Similiarly, after your laptop is purchased for convenient in school ground, you need to upgrade your pc at home with video hardware to enable you to do video projects for school works, music clips, etc whatever is needed. and saved it or use thumbdrive to download to your laptops for presentation anywhere.

Both have got their advantages as well as disadvantages. If you want something portable, definitely its a laptop. On the other hand, if you want some brilliant featured economic system, go for a PC.

If you buy a pc you can do alot more with it than a laptop.at least thats what i think you have more to search for than a laptop. So it all up to you also what you can afford. or, do more on.be sure and have dsl. also cause it to is a lot faster to get on line with.Do not go with dial-up.that is jussst to slooww. Hope this is helpful. Your friend Bonnie.
