Do you have pets with fur, like cats or dogs? They may not be bedbugs but Fleas.
If they are fleas, buy a home bombing kit from the local drug store and use it as directed. Also ask your veterinary for products that can help remove bugs and insects such as shampoos and dips for your pets.
If they are bedbugs, you will need to wash your sheets in very hot water and dry them. Then tie them and all your clothes and bedding into plastic bags and leave them there for 2 weeks. I suggest thoroughly cleaning and vaccuuming the areas to which you and your pets frequent such as bedrooms and living rooms. Ask your physician about products to help remove the bugs also.

You need to call a professional exterminator. If you have had them for five months, your mattress and the room it is in are infested. Budbugs hide in the mattress seams, in cracks, under wall paper, and just about any spot they can squeeze into. They prefer a human host, but will suck blood from just about anything that has it if needed. There is no really good insecticide out there that you can buy that will work on them. It might be cheaper in the long run to dispose of the mattress, box spring, and all the pillows. Wash all the sheets, clothing and drapes in the hottest water you can. Steam clean carpets. If it can't be cleaned, put it in bags, seal and leave for two weeks before you even think about touching it. Get the bags as hot or freezing cold as you can, and keep them that way as much as possible during the 2 weeks. But get a professional exterminator to spray and treat the entire house first. Don't replace the mattress until you know the infestation is gone, or a new one will get infested as well.

Everyone i have known has burned the mattress,or disposed of it. Cleaned the room really good with lice spray or a spray just for bed bugs. Let the room air out before they brought another mattress in. If the problem persists after the new mattress then if you are renting i would talk to the landlord about the pest problem,if not and live in the city ,i would speak with the city about sprays to be used. They also recomend not ever buying used mattresses because of sanitary issues such as this.I have never had them but i am sure it is annoying trying to sleep through all that!!! I would set up a bed in the living room for the meantime!

if you use a fabric sofa then its easyer for the bed bugs to actually sink into it and its impossible to actually try and kill them yourself but if you get rid of the fabric sofa and buy a leather sofa they wont beable to get in as easy. by the way bed bugs only come when you have a sofa for ages or you put a cover over it. if you do that then in future you must not. they also go on beds aswell if you got a bed that you have used for a while you must buy a new one every year or so because bedbugs can come of that too . anything made like sofas, fabric chairs, beds can all get bed bugs. and the bedbugs on a leather sofa you wont actually need to kill them as much as on a fabric sofa because there will be less of them and sometimes the bedbugs like to hide but you will see them so get your exterminator ready ... but you will only need it if you have the chair for quite a while if you have the chair for a while and you dont or do see them you must spray it every month or so because they can come back. i hope my answer helped you =] good luck with the bedbugs

Throw out your mattress and boxspring. Fumigate the house, buy a new mattress and boxspring. Wash and change your sheets every week and step up your housekeeping. Use HOT water and detergent. Keep that place clean. Fumigate your clothes in your closet too.
You people must live like pigs.

It may sound weird but I saw it in a TV show once. Put your sheets in a resealable bag and freeze them for 24 to 48 hours. That should get rid of them. Good luck!!
