i am going on stage for the 1st time in years (im 15) and i feel quite confident,and its to do my first ever mime,any advice on keeping myself calm and confident when the time comes?

i have been in all my school musicals/ productions since i was 6 and i am now 13. it's a good idea to relax before you go on stage and breath camly. if you imagine that it's only another rehearsal and you pretend that you're all alone in the auditorium, then you gain even more confidence. practice so that you feel that nothing can go wrong. remember; if you are enjoying yourself, then so will the audience. break a leg!

the best thing to do is practice over and over again infront of the mirror, your family, friends and other people!
practice makes perfect!
the reason this will make you calm and confident is because on the actual performance you would have already gone thru your routine so many times that it will feel just like an extra special practice where you give it your all !
