They are not pro-life, they are anti-abortion. They are pro-death / war / torture.

They oppose abortion, but it is OK if one of them bombs an abortion clinic.

They oppose abortion, but they express little interest or concern about pedophilia.

They oppose abortion, but they have an almost giddy excitement for torture. They want torture even though our own experts say that torture does not provide reliable information and, worse, the information that is provided usually just waste our resources that could be put to better use.

They oppose abortion, but are pro death penalty. Again, they do not care that innocent people are routinely put to death.

They oppose abortion, but they care not at all about the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis killed a the result of an illegal and immoral war which they continue to support even after the whole world and over half of the American population have pointed out to them how wrong it is and how it only creates a greater threat to America and Americans.

The truth is that they are morally bankrupt, hateful people who, as Founding Father John Adams wrote, would "whip and crop, and pillory and roast" all of us if they were not constrained by law. They do not care about people at all, other than their own little perverted groups. Things like abortion, the death penalty, etc., are just political issues to them – an attempt to impose (through force if necessary) their religion, beliefs, and lifestyle on the rest of us.

They are so outrageously hypocritical (and such pathological liars), that when John McCain and his wife adopted a non-white child – rather than applaud him for helping a needy child, they instead chose to accuse his wife of having had an affair that led to the birth of the child. It was just another of their politically motivated lies because McCain was running so well against Dubya in the 2000 Republican primary

Being pro-life and pro-death penalty is not necessarily hypocritical. The difference would be that a fetus in the womb has no chance to give up its right to life. It is innocent to a pro-lifer and has done nothing to deserve its death. A criminal sentenced to the death penalty has killed several people, usually in cold blood, and will likely spend his life in a small cell, living off of the very people his actions hurt. However if you are a pro-lifer because we are not god and it is gods choice whether that child lives or dies, and you believe in the death penalty, your a hypocrite.

Pro-life supporters base their belief on religious tenets. They also do not respect other peoples rights to believe as they wish.
That in itself is hypocritical.
Pro-death penalty supporters also base their belief from the Bible, "an eye for an eye", which the majority of Americans believe, so that is the law of the land.

these are definitely two different things. One is taking an innocent life before it has a chance in the world the other is condemning the condemned so no pro lifers are not hypocrites just because they support the death penalty.Pro lifers are not killing anybody in war either so you have to think about what you post before come up with a better argument instead of an old tired one that just don't make any sense.

People need to mind their own business. Everybody has the right to choose what is good for them. If a person needs abortion, she should be allowed to get it. It's her body, not anyone else's.

NO. AN INNOCENT CHILD DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE KILLED. SOME CRIMINALS DO.
