I have my Grandads WW2 Army number and want to find out more about his job and what his role in the War was?

Try and talk to a recuiting office. They might be able to give you an idea of what your grandfather. They might also be able to get you records to tell you more about what he did.

It might be helpful to say which army he was in. American ? British ? The SS ?
