I use pain shop pro five, and when I open a picture, I "save as" and underneath where you type the file name, is a list of options of all the different types of picture file extensions.

Hi! I use Photoshop CS. If you open the gif and then you go to Archive: Save as, you have several options. One of them is save as jpeg. In this way you can change the format. Even you can reduce the size. If your gif is for example 70 KB, you can reduce it into 30kb.

you can do that with any photo editor. Just open your .gif and than go in the program to File and Save as, and give the extension .jpg
I recommend using Picasa Photo software, it's very goo and free

You should change their format or exentio.
Open your phot editor such as ACDSee,Photoshop.
Then click File>Save as>
Choose "jpeg" or "jpg" from the list of file types.

there are many tools, ACDC, photoshop, firwroks, select images and create the galley for them and select format as jpg, it will automatically convert all the images as jpg
