Warning Spoiler Do not read if you have not seen the movie.
I think people can change, but humans will always discriminate and hate so long as we exist in the flesh, for the very nature of humanity is imperfection. Hatred usually breeds Hatred. If you remember in American History X Edward Norton's Character was a regular kid until his father instilled the seeds of hatred into him, after his fathers death Ed blamed minorites and this hatred eventually led him to kill a black man, at the end of the movie that same man's brother or friend killed Ed Norton's brother, and even though the movie ended there Ed Norton's brother will probably reinstitue his Nazi beliefs out of anger for his brothers death. Hatred breeds Hatred. Perversion breeds Perversion. It will never end so long as Human beings exist on this Earth.

a number of those responses are ridiculous. As an American, i'm beginning to attain how racist Britain unquestionably is. include variety rather of questioning "Oh no!! they are taking on". I literary have acquaintances from in basic terms approximately each subculture which you could imagine, and it has in certainty made me a greater physically powerful individual. Even the deep south of the U. S., which has a foul attractiveness for racism, isn't close to as undesirable as what I see on a number of those message boards. I grew up in an area the place i became the only white youngster, and that i became at cases discriminated against, yet i do no longer make generalizations of all minorities with the aid of fact of it.

all people are not going to stop discriminating. however, lucky for us humans that our brains are an organ that is constantly learning...racism is a learned behavior, and it can be "unlearned," or modified...IF the person in question truly wants to learn a new way of thinking and behaving. i believe there is hope for the future if ppl can begin to accept that we are all different in our cultures, but we are all the same in being human beings: we all have many things in common across all cultures and nations. one doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what we have in common, and work from those perspectives. simplistically: we all have red blood, many of us love coffee, mothers and fathers love their children, some of us like cats, some like dogs, some people have twins, etc, etc, etc...you can always find something in common with somebody if you try hard enough...we don't have to love everyone we interact with, but learning to understand, have empathy and tolorance is a huge step in the right direction. fear, superiority and inferiority play a huge role in racism and bigotry. i hope this makes sense...i have trouble expressing my thoughts on these issues sometimes. ;) thanx for listening.

Why does anyone face racism? Duh...it's just not going to go away when you have countries such as America constantly playing their sickening tone.
Personally, I have given up on all whites...as they are always topping the list of hate and bigotry and they use their positions to hurt people of color. I now use my position to hurt them and they don't like it, but they get angry and try to "pack up" with other bigots like them.
Racism...blah..blah..blah...it... old and tired but the real sickening ones who constantly perpetuate it won't stop until Armageddon destroys them. That time is not far off. Until that time, I just exist with 'em but I don't try to be too social or friendly because they are a cursed race (leoprosy) and they cannot be trusted...like a diseased frog or something.
Be careful and don't get too close because if you were a cursed race also, I guess you'd have a lot of evil and hate within you and you wouldn't behave yourself fairly. Whites think they run everything and thing is, they do not and this type of "we can" and you cannot illness keeps them in hot water constantly so they lie when they are confronted with their evil ways.
Many times they don't even realize how evil they are but then when they do, they get mad and defensive and it turns into "I just don't care I'm white and I can do this" type sickness. That's when they really need to be eliminated by God, but God has his own time.
As far as interacting with them, I don't really care to...I don't associate with 'em much as they don't have goodness in their hearts and they always lie and cause major problems everywhere.
The world hates America mostly because of them and they group us all in the same bag. If they only knew how much many of us hate them for the horrific things they do on a daily basis and again they use their jobs to hurt people and laugh and have beers over their evil ways.
What does God have to say about that? Well take a look:
Psalms 37: 12 - The wicked one is plotting against the righteous one,
And at him he is grinding his teeth.
13 Jehovah himself will laugh at him,
For he certainly sees that his day will come.
Psalms 37: 8 - Let anger alone and leave rage;
Do not show yourself heated up only to do evil.
9 For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
Nice ending for the good people soon, so just exist and don't get too close to them...they will backstab you every time.

only if people learn to respect others. Unfortunately this world tolerates ignorance to a point so it will only perpetuate. The only way racism will cease is when all of us (humans) are deceased.

"Planet of the Apes"
nah..
I believe we are learning to care for others (and not attack them) and their opinions...
At the top of the food chain
the primary threat is others at (or near) the top of the food chain.
.
.
beware of those that want others to change in order for them to be satisfied....
people who we believe are like ourselves are who we choose as friends...
if our group of friends believes that we should attack (or use some kind of force) others for us to survive(ie. others have what I need) then that is what this group believes that others will do to them...
instead of expanding their knowledge, that they can create their own survival and more - then distribute the excess benefit, they keep their little group mentality because it survives and is less work in the short term...
so
as long as this mentality exist, we as a "civilization" will have groups that look to others to support them and don't mind using force, guns, capture, confinement, in order to obtain their survival...
and as this mentality approaches desperation...
anger builds that others are keeping something from them
and
therefore they attack...
do you have my oil????
hm...
.
.

Yes! We are evolving spiritually in that direction I believe.
As we learn not to fear, we also learn not to hate.
