ok let me guess your having problems with the order your supposed to work this out

well the order goes like this
() brackets first,do everything in the brackets first and remember to keep the order
*/ multiply and divide second doesn't matter which order
and
+- last, as with multiply and divide does not matter which order as long as you do the () and the */ first
if you need help remembering them just write them in order at the top of every page of your math book until you know them of by heart

but anyway this is not solving your math problem is it

so we have
(3/5+2/3)*6/8+1/2*7/9
hmm i'm by the way that this is written the 6 seems to be over 8+1/2*7/9
but i'm gonna stick to my original assumption and say that it is the 6/8 that we add the 1/2*7/9 and solve it that way

so we start with whats in the brackets
3/5+2/3
so to add them without using a calculator we need the denominator(the bottom number) to be the same
so we multiply the two denominator's(the bottom number) together to get the final denominator(the bottom number) so in this case it is 5*3=15
so we have 15 as the new base number in each fraction
now we also multiply the numerator(the top number) by the denominator in the opposite fraction so we have 2* 5=10 and 3*3=9
which gives us
inside the brackets (10/15 + 9/15)
and then when we add them we get 19/15
then we multiply the 19/15 * 6/8
to do this without a calculator we need to convert both fractions to the same denominator as before, and as before we multiply both denominator's together as such
15*8= 120
and now because we are multiplying the fractions we multiply the numerator's together
as such 19*6=114 and we get the final fraction
of 114/120
that's the first half and now because the + comes last we do the 1/2*7/9 first
and as before we multiply the two denominator's together as such
2*9=18
and also the two numerators together as such
1*7=7
and we get 7/18 as the new fraction
