Ok, I work as a Garbage man. Last week I found a Box of Toll House Cookie Dough in a Dumpster behind the A&P. It looked alright and when I opened up one of the packages it tasted fine. I took it home thinking my wife would love it. Instead she got mad and told me to get rid of it. I said I would but I just hid it in the tool shed out back and snacked on it after work everyday. She found it today and hasn't stoped telling me how sick I am. In fact sge's yelling at me as I type this.Was I wrong for bringing home the Cooki Dough?. My wife say's that I need help. Is she right?

You have got to be kidding! Your eating someone else's trash. You take your job literally. Don't you realize that you could possibly make yourself sick if not worse from that waste? This goes beyond an eating disorder. You really need to seek professional help. If you work you can afford to buy some clean food, and I am sure your wife would be more than happy to buy you your own Box of Toll House Cookie Dough. You would be amazed at how differently clean food tastes!

No, you are not sick. In fact, you are a visionary. It is great men like yourself who see past things such as germs and disgusting to trail a path of greatness. Well as a garbage man, if it is food and in the trash LEAVE IT THERE!! Do not eat it !! You can get really sick from uncooked cookie dough let alone it had been in the trash and in the garage for how long??? Eating disorder ...No....Compulsion problem ...YES.... Bad judgment Oyea!

As far as your job description goes it's definitely not a good idea for you to bring your work home with you. The only help you need is proper judgment. People may not understand this type of behavior. That includes your wife. If you're going to do this then keep quiet about it.

If it's a one off thing then no you dont.need help.
If you habitually bring home food from dumpsters there might be a problem.
Cookie dough that is left out can cause salmonella poisoning: It has uncooked eggs in it, and multiply that by the fact that they were probably expired.
