No game is really pirate-proof. Given enough time, someone will figure out a way to pirate almost any game. Considering the cost of a Blu-Ray drive, it will be a while before we see widespread pirating of Blu-Ray games, but it won't be long before someone has figured out how to mod the PS3 and play pirated DVD games.

That's offline. Playing pirated games online on a PS3 is less likely.

It can use pirated DVD discs, but not pirated Blu-Ray movies. However, this may be possible in the future.
