...as being an adulterous affair or in a way which paints you in a negative light? If so, what did you do, or how did you react?

I once had a "friend" who got jealous of me and said some really, really mean things behind my back and online to me. But in person.... in my face..... she couldn't say anything and acted like nothing happened at all. Everybody knew she was a ***** though... she may have THOUGHT she painted me in a negative light... but I didn't give a crap. I thought it was actually humerous. Yes, it was a shock to find out she did that. But I moved on and realized she wasn't who I thought she was all that time. What did I do? I could've punched the hell out of her. Everyone knew I could. But... I decided to be the bigger person and not do a single thing. I acted like nothing happened just like she acted like nothing happened when she saw me in person. I don't let people get to me. If I do, that just encourages them to continue... and makes them think they defeated me.

I have more friends that are guys than girls. Always have. So yes my relationships with some of them have been seen as bf/gf rather than friends. For some reason most people see a close relationship between male and female as something romantic and cannot seem to believe otherwise. On your other question. Love is great when its good, but if you never knew what it felt like to have love, it wouldn't nearly kill you when it ended. I am undecided which is better.
