There is never really a right time but say you should be out of college, if college is what you want. Be in a job for atleast a year with benifits. Hopefully married for at least a few months, but not necessary
PS though you want the help from a spouse babies are hard work

That is a very individual question. Actually, I don't think the timing can ever be right. A baby changes everything and nothing can prepare you for it. However, some situations are easier to have a baby in. Being in a stable relationship, in a stable job, somewhat not in debt, having private health insurance (not government based), and mature enough to handle the responsibilities. Hope that helps. The right time is whenever you feel that you are mentally and financially prepared to do so.
Not sure if you are planning to do so out of wedlock or not, so ask yourself too........if you are mentally and financially able to care for a child as a possible single parent.
