i think this is a problem of beliefs. we, as humans, were born and raised with the thought that we were created by god, and the bible tells us that we are alone in the universe. when the astrologers found the planets they expected to be some sort of living beings on them, but soon they realised that it wasn`t true. there was nothing, only strange phenomenons on it, methereological speaking, thunder and wind storms, high temperatures and no life on them, as we know it. the dissapointment grew even stronger when they realised that phisically speaking it is impossible that life could even grow there. i mean, thinking about the gigantic planets, jupiter and saturn, there is no way... and how about pluto, it is so far that even the sunlight barely gets there.. when scientists realised that we belong to a solar sistem, and that the solar sistem to a galaxy and the galaxy to the infinite universe, hope rised. my opinion is that it is imposibil not to be any life at all in the hole universe. why shouldn`t it be, when we are so little and so small, and why shoudn`t be someone out there that it trying to get to us, to comunicate with us, to teach us something or to learn from us? but.. there is still a problem.. our own ignorance is tranforming humans in story tellers, stories that are unbalieveble.. i think that some of us did see aliens.. but to be kidnapped by them or even killed, i am sceptical.. but i do believe that there is someone out there, another civilisation.. someone... it has to be.. otherwise why were we created.. to be the stupidest form alive? like a virus.. destroying our own planet.. and us ... hmm it is strange to tell..

I don't know if aliens have been visiting but I believe there is other intelligent life out in the universe. I mean it would be a waste of space. I haven't seen any UFO's or aliens but I can't believe that we are the only intelligent life around.
Many sightings can be explained away by top secret government activity. I've heard of abductions being explained away by sleep paralysis. But sightings of ghosts, spirits, etc can also be explained away. And I also think that just like with anything else there are people that make up their stories.
I'm sure that some "sightings" are what you experienced, just a plane or maybe it was some military testing of new aircraft. But as crazy as some of the stories I've heard are I find it hard to believe that all of them are made up.
I don't think anyone will know for sure until the aliens actually contact us. And I don't mean by abducting someone or doing a flyby. I mean sending a message or landing here and letting themselves be seen by more than people in rural areas. And if they ever do let's hope that it's not to take us over.

Aliens visiting this planet? No I don't think so at least not yet. There have been strange stories that haven't always had a rational explanation, but does this mean they are aliens in space ships? I am not sure. However I do believe in the existence of extra terrestrials. If the universe is endless with many many galaxies then the probability that we live on the ONLY planet capable of supporting life becomes statistically less likely. However these beings, assuming that they are intelligent, face the same difficulty in crossing the cosmos as we do, which makes their appearance in our skies, whilst not impossible perhaps, highly improbable.

With all of the technology of today coupled with the excessive population of even rural areas of all countries, the possiblity of an extra-terrestrial successfully landing a craft on earth in an area that no one knows about and successfully keeping the landing and the existance of "E.T." a secret from the general public is nil. In the age of Information Technology, one person could spill the beans and, within hours, the rest of the world would know about it. For these reasons, I believe that if there were aliens at Area 51 in Nevada, we would have seen proof by now.

If there were ET's wouldn't they be in touch with us, it must take years to fly to Earth. It seems a waste of time if they just fly around then go home. On the subject of the Pyramids, why would aliens build tombs for the Pharaohs when they Egyptians had plenty man power and know how to build them by themselves.
Of course there may be some out there, and as my mother used to sing to me when I was a boy
3 little men in a flying saucer
flew round the Earth one day
flew to left and right of it
couldn't stand the sight of it
and quickly flew away

Statistics say that life will exist on another planet somewhere in the universe. But to believe that they come here and perform unnecessary surgical procedures is a little far fetched and silly. Plus how can an alien culture develop faster than light travel but no brakes? Aliens just would not crash land on earth.

No. People just have mental illnesses(abductions, I mean). I think there is always a possiblity. But I never trust government propaganda. So on the other had, maybe we are being visited. But why are we so special to be the only living creatures in the vast universe?

I believe there are ETs out there some where. I don't think it's possible for this planet to be the only planet in the galaxy that is capable of supporting life. So, of course ETs exist, just they do not want to be found out or us humans have not discovered them. Just because we do not see them, that doesn't mean they do not exist.
Hey, by the way. Are you of the Red half of the Mersey or the Blue half?

I personaly don't beleive that aliens are visiting earth. But, I do believe that they might be on some other planet. After all why would god only make lief on Earth, I'm sure she has created life on may different planets and places. Maybe these other life forms just haven't evolved as fast as humans.
Well, god is mysterious, and her ways are beyond our comprehension!
