How do I create multiple delimiters with getline in C++?

Question

Using getline or not, I want a stream to read in a line, but have two delimiters instead of one. It's important that, after the first delimiter is reached, the stream resumes from that point, instead of just reading a whole line of text, and truncating it from there.
