I can't get people to stop laughing about me in my art major. I am a college junior at a big university and last semester I signed up to be a nude model, and well, it was going good at first. But one day i was late to class, and the professor had a female replace me. As I was about to leave, the professor suggests I stay and have the students draw two figures.
Well, standing up there with her I became aroused and had to remain there for an hour with her. Whenever i modeled after that a few select girls from the same class would make gestures at me behind the teachers back to get me excited again. I stopped modeling but now everyone calls me the b**** boy, even people I dont know. It really bothers me.
why do people think its so funny, and continue to bust me about it? Shouldn't they take the class more seriously and see the body as art?

it is funny, but I personally would have got over it.... the body is art and beautiufl art! Its only natural for you to become aroused as well... Its why god put us women here.... lol....
And then theres the fact that people are REALLY immature these days. I wouldnt stress it... Its'll eventually fade away and Im sure you and your friends will be able to laugh about it some day!
did the female see that you were aroused by her????

My darlin', the human body IS a beautiful work of art. Those idiots are busting you for having a body that is in prime working order. And there is NOTHING wrong with that.
People often operate under a low-intellect mass mob mentality. I think this is what you are experiencing.
My question to you is this: Can you think of any way to exploit the situation...
Know anyone who is kind and has sketched you? Make t-shirts to commemorate the incident. Adopt an attitude of nonchalance and finesse the situation by removing the power from the people that have hurt you. A kind of 'fake it 'til you make it...

I could have sworn art was something that everybody interpreted in their own way so if those people that are laughing at you behind your back and making life difficult then maybe you should try to remove yourself mentally from the situation and when they laugh at you laugh with them it will throw them off and eventually they will think if your laughing then we can't upset you anymore time to move on thats the way that human nature works when in a group situation. They really should take class more seriously if they want to take art to a professional level after all if they laugh at a naked form what else are they going to find funny.

Hi friend,
your reaction to the situation is absloutely normal and anybody in your place no matter how confident will feel embarrased. so first spend some time and work hard understanding your feelings regarding this and accepting it.
Next, u have to accept that all people will not behave in a sensible and mature manner. so they may not understand ur feelings, ur reaction or that its normal. may be that they understand but are doing it just to have fun. so dont let people bother u.
remember one thing u cannot control the actions of others....the only one thing that u can do is "control ur actions" shape them in such a way to make ur life easy...with no compromise on your growth or psychological health. go ahead....
If u feel the need u can go for a professional advice for long term benefits. U amy choose to visit a counseling psychologist or a counselor. Take care...byee.....

Comedy is a form of art to and can be laughable. Try wearing a customized shirt that says "I was B**** Boy Class Of 2006 Art 101" Or something clever like that. Life is a joke. Prove that you can handle it and laugh like everyone else. Thank you for sharing.

People are immature.
Don't worry about it.
Just relax and take a deep breath and shrug it off.
Also, you should dare the guys to take off their clothes and pose as a model alongside a naked women. Most people like to admonish others and demean them to make themselves feel/look better. In the end, they probably don't have half the balls you do. If they did, that wouldn't have been you up there but one of them.

now.There is nothing astounding in your behaviour and the pupil surrounded . Show some thing extra ordinary , more than the ordinary class mates, Could you get prepared for that. Sooner or later you can acquire the skill to inspire others to follow suit. okay

Just remember that those people are really immature and you are going to go much farther in life than them because of your maturity and level-headedness. You sound like a really nice guy and so you should try really hard to let that stuff roll off your back and those people are probably jealous of you because you are a model and they're not and they wish they could be a model but they're too ugly and stupid.

it is embarassing, because people are immature and like to depricate something they see as "funny". just remember that those boys who laughed are jealous and immature and those girls that tease you (gestures) are b***** that probably don't ever get real boyfriends. most people are just stupid and don't appreciate art or the nature of the human body, they're too immature and can't over the "joke" as long as it's not about them.
