Here's ur answer.
In Windows, you have two options. Press the Print Screen (or PrtScn) key on your keyboard to copy the entire screen to the clipboard. Press Alt-Print Screen to copy only the active window. Next you'll need to open an image editor (Microsoft Paint, which comes with Windows, is fine if you don't plan on doing any fancy editing), create a new file, and select Paste from the Edit menu.

Hi.
If you want to copy only the active window - press the Alt button, and while it is pressed click on Print Screen.
If you want to copy the entire screen (with all windows shown on it) - press the Ctrl button, and while it is pressed click on Print Screen.
Of course this just copies the screens to the clipboard memory. To see what you copied you need to paste it somewhere - such as into Paint, Word etc. You can paste into these applications either by pressing Ctrl-V or by using the Edit->Paste menu item. You can also send to a printer from there.
Besides using PrintScreen there are also dedicated print-screen utilities, such as "snag-it". If you need screenshots only occassionally - no need for them, but if you become a "heavy user" they make life easier.
Good luck.
Andy
PS - My answer assumes you are using Windows on .PC

Does your keyboard have an FLock?
Mine does and I have to press it to take a screenshot.
If not, try pressing Alt+PrtScn, it will take a screenshot of the active window.
