i need someone to explain to me how do tire size work ....like there some like 215-55-17

215 is the width of the tire....55 is the sidewall size (aspect ratio) which means its 55% of the width of the tire...and the 17 is the size of the rim

If you weren't for sure the 215 is a measurement like the answer before mine. However, tires are done in metric sizes. 215 MM or 215 millimeters and 55 is equivalent to 55% of 215MM which is the size of the sidewall of the tire, and 17 inch diameter of the tire's rim. So 215/55 R 17 = 215 MM / 55% of 215 MM R 17inch RIM
