If a woman has a right to choose when it comes to abortion, why doesn't a terminally ill patient have the right to choose to die and end the pain?

An abortion is killing an unborn child who doesn't have the ability to reason for itself. The woman does not kill herself.

A terminally ill patient may as well be considered a suicide, but I see where you're coming from. There's always the off-chance for a miracle, I suppose. But they're different. I'd consider them suicide and homocide.

When there is severe pain or physical impairment or severe difficulty breathing, and the person is terminally ill, usually their doctor will help them to die with an overdose of pain medicine.

It is an unspoken agreement with the doctor and patient after there is a terminal diagnosis and after a living will has been signed.

Not all doctors will do this, but most will.

in some places they do...its called assisted suicide...its largely debated...but you know what people do it and doctors help...i think its the least we can do for suffering people is to help them die the way they want to in the least amount of pain as possible.
