ok, i need some opinions, especially from other african americans. I got in an argument with a friend of mine because we saw a caucasian girl, about 19 or 20, wearing a jet black afro wig. she wasnt trying to make a scene or pretening to be african american or anything obviously offensive, she was just wearing the wig. My friends wanted to kick her *** because she thought it was offensive, but i didnt. I thought, if she likes how she looks, why cant she wear an afro? just because she's white? what do you think?

thats retarded. if she was mocking african americans shes just an idiot, but dont give her the satisfaction of upsetting you. If she was just wearing it because she liked it who cares. African American women are always wearing wigs and weave that look like caucasian peoples hair....

Its not just about wigs,i see caucasion&asian girls with their hair braided it doesnt bother me,wigs were popular in the past and you know how things keep coming in& out of fashion its just that,but not every1 is goin 2 see it that way

What I think is that your friend is an ugly black from the sounds of it, thats what I think. And shes just jealous becuase she knows deep down no black girl can ever be as attractive as a white girl.

well we tend to see it as rediculous when a black woman bleaches her hair blonde or red. its not natural in any way, i see your friends point.
