My husband and I aren't trying to get pregnant, but I was wondering what do you think the chances are of pregnancy by using a foam spermicide together with withdrawal method? Thanks

I think if you use both right you shouldnt have a problem. I know you already know this though that no method is 100%

The withdrawal method isn't a lot better than no method at all, honestly. You can still become pregnant from sperm contained in "pre-ejaculation"--besides the unreliability of making sure withdrawal occurs on time. The chances of getting pregnant while using the foam spermicide are 26% tops, so that's about what your chances are right now. well u should have a good chance of not getting pregnant, but i once got prego with the withdrawl method just because of the "pre-c*m" but i did not use any other source of contraceptive as ur also using foam spermicide.

There are quite a few factors to deal with hear, but saying that both methods were implemented appropriately, I would say that your chances of getting pregnant are pretty slim...somewhere in the 3-5% range.

If you have a regular cycle, you'll prob. do better if you try the natural planning method. Then you don't have to constantly worry if he got out in time, etc. etc. etc.
