I say John Kennedy was the last US President that sounded the way a President should sound......since him we've had some good presidents, but they don't know how to inspire people with their speeches.....what's your opinion?

I hate to admit it but Bush had a pretty good speach and the world in his pocket after 9/11. It was a moving time.BUT THEN HE BLEW IT.

I have heard that JFK was an extremely good leader, and speaker. But I was only 2 when he was assassinated.
I hate to admit it, but even though Bush is a poor speaker. He is clueless. Bush has pretty much done the opposite. It seems to me every time he opens his mouth, he just enrages more people. He has inspired me to speak out against his policies and agendas like no other president. And I do not endorse him in any way, shape, or form. The worst president of the modern times.

Bush with US unification after 911. Before that Clinton did a pretty good job on pushing individual responsibility. Before him I'd have to say Reagan. Before Reagan you pretty much have to go all the way back to Kennedy.

I will have to go with Ronald Reagan when he told Gorbachev to "tear down that wall" in reference to the Berlin Wall!!!

But JFK was great at speaking and motivating, "Ask not" ranks high on my list also!!!

You are right about JFK and we were star struck but Ronald Regan was also known as the Great Communicator and that he was.
