Who is the old british guy rocking out in VW commercials?

In the new line of VW commercials for the beetles with the guitar plug in there is an old brit rocking out with his guitar on a vw. I thought maybe it was angus young from ac/dc. Anyone know who it is?

No, it's the guitarist from the fake band Spinal Tap, Nigel Tunfel (played by Christopher Guest)
