One poses a threat to safety all over the world. The other poses a threat to the Bush Administration, alone. Isn't that how it appears to you?

I'm not arguing that Bush's torture methods are worse than anyone elses. He's been bragging that they're very effective. But what has been described on TV by one of the detainees didn't sound tame, either. You do watch TV?

I didn't think anyone could be that crazy, but apparently the Republican majority required the Admin. to publish facts regarding pre-war intelligence to prove (politically) that Saddam had WMD's...and some fool put that info on the net in Arabic

I don't know. It seems that you require a lesson in what constitutes torture. In particular, refer to the Japanese treatment of prisoners during WWII. Dogs barking near your face and listening to loud music (among other things) is a bit more tolerable than constant violent beatings with rifle butts, pipes, metal rods, or other much worse utensils of torture.

The beheadings were also especially harsh, you think?

That should give you some "real" perspective.

Let me see everyone said that Iraq had nothing or risk, now all that safe info is not a risk.

heavens some people can not be happy.

But why should it matter any more, people leak government secrets every day now to the times or the post and no one does anything about it, since they claim a 1st admin right.

And no it only appears that people hate Bush so much they merely keep looking for issues to complain about.

and no we should not have told our secrets to questioning terrorist, it was a disgrace, the info that liberals leaked to the news and what the news ran.

he doesnt want anything leaked but what he authorizes! Look at all the missing lap tops, geez where is homeland security when you need them to police the governement? Torture is wrong for any reason.
